Computer Down Back Soon
Your life is determined not by what happens to you; your life is determined by the way you look at what happens.

Presidential Quote
You are not necessarily bound to win or succeed; but you are bound to be true and to live up to the light you have.
Abraham Lincoln.
Abraham Lincoln.
Venting and a contribution.
Have a nice day! Seriously spent the last 2 hours on the computer chatting with the phone people because my phone is out. After resetting it a zillion times they decide I need a tech to come out. OK so I have tons of calls to make tonight, some incredibly important and no phone. UGH> and then they ask if a tech can come over tomorrow to fix it- well yeah, duh. After that they ask if they can help me with anything else- how about giving me the last 2 hours of my time you just wasted???? that would be a start!
On to sadder things- it's tough to see Hilary losing these states. I got an emai lfrom her campaign I'd like to share here. Anything to help ya know. Dats what we do here in da North Woods ya know!
Here's what you need to know this morning. We were outspent in Wisconsin by a 4 to 1 margin on ads -- and we can't let that happen on March 4. If we want to win in Texas, Ohio, Rhode Island, and Vermont, we've got to even the odds. We can't let the Obama campaign overwhelm us financially. Today, I am calling on you and other online supporters to act together, making sure we have the resources to create a fair, level playing field on March 4. Contribute now to help us level the playing field. Let this remarkable two-person contest for the Democratic nomination be determined by the strength of our ideas, the quality of our leadership, or the depth of our experience. But whatever you do, don't let the outcome of these crucial March 4 contests be decided by a lopsided spending advantage for the Obama campaign. Only you -- our incredible online community -- can act quickly and decisively enough to create a level playing field. And with everything on the line, that's exactly what I'm asking you to do. We're putting everything on the line. Contribute now.
So thats about it from that.
Ok more venting one more time. Sure would be nice to get paid for your work- wouldn't it. Thank God for good, and I mean really good, lawyers!

Did someone say Cougar?
Recently I have been hearing much of the debate on women dating younger men and being called Cougars. First, is there anything wrong with this? I mean, honey if you can get a young hot guy and find a meaningful relationship- go for it! Hugh Hefner has been making it ok for men for years. Why not women? So Demi- you go girl and everyone else out there. What's good for the gander........
Republican Voters for Obama
Are you one of those Repubicans that are secure with McCain in place that they are voting by the truckloads for Obama? What a neat and nifty idea. Why vote for McCain when it's in the bag so to speak when you can instead, insure that your only competition, Hilary Clinton does note get the nomination by voting for Obama. His lack of experience is perfectly matched by McCains experience. I am not saying this is happening, but I put nothing past the republicans. All I know is that this country cannot afford to have another 4 years of republican leadership. We will be owned by the Chinese, pay $6.oo a gallon for gas, have little to no home ownership and have to work 3 jobs (if we can find any) just to feed and clothes our family.
Welcome one and all
My first post will be as political as possible. I just need a place to lay it out there and hopefully get some response from you.
First, I definately am a Hilary voter. Lets be real shall we. The woman not only has brains and brawn, she also has solutions. Isn't it time we stopped getting sucked in to all the right words that have nothing to back it up? I am happy to see the younger voters coming out in masses this election year (I have two first time voters in my family) but seriously folks, enough rhetoric. If I hear the word "change" one more time I will puke. Its all well and good to want to change the downhill crumble this country is going in but you had better have some solutions to back it up. Obama we are sick of your visionary-but-vague rhetoric.
